Performances:

Suriya looks brilliant in three roles and his role as Aathreya will reaches you with all necessary twists.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu role is limited and has not much to perform

Though, Nithya Menon's role has not much elevated, the twist is connected to the story in form of her character.

The rest of the roles donned by Sudha, Girish Karnad, Mohan Raman, Ajay and Saranya Ponvannan are decent.

Technicalities:

AR Rahman creates magic with extraordinary background score and his songs lacks in pace of the film in this version.

Cinematography is neat.

The film's major assets were in the form of Art work and VFX.

Director Vikram Kumar has cleverly dealt with much sensitive plot with more surprising elements in the movie. His screenplay could have been better in execution.

Production Values by 2D Entertainments is rich.

Analysis:

24 Movie is all about novel plot with clever execution by the director and extraordinary performance by the Actor Suriya. The proceedings in first half create interest in plot where as the film lacks in presenting the love chemistry on the lead pair.

The scenes between Suriya and Samantha are quite boring and have nothing to do with the plot. Apart from forcing love scenes and songs on the duo, the rest of the story goes on racy note. Nithya Menon's role is engaging and goes over plot. The interval bang makes you gripping and the latter half gets on dragging note.

The last 20 minutes of the film will give you goosebumps for the perfection of screenplay and the role of Aathreya gives you a clear clarification.

Finally:

Suriya’s Watchable Flick
