YSRCP boycotts winter Assembly sessions

Protesting against the Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad’s refusal on cancelling the suspension of MLA Roja from Assembly sessions for a year, Opposition YSR Congress Party on Monday had decided to move a no-confidence motion against Speaker.

YSRCP President Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy has announced his Party’s decision to boycott the rest of Assembly sessions and walked out of the Assembly on Monday with the party legislators. He stated that the ruling TDP is trying to suppress the Opposition Party’s voice.

YSRCP MLAs asked the speaker to reconsider the decision to suspend the party MLA Roja for a year, which is against the rules, and with Speaker Kodela further refusing for another debate on call money cum sex racket scam, YSRCP Leaders criticized the speaker and decided to move a no-confidence motion against the Speaker expressing its dissatisfaction over the proceedings in the House.
