AP Principal Opposition YSRCP has demanded a probe on the Call Money scam asking for an inquiry into the scam by High Court's sitting judge to unravel the people behind the scam.

YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy has written a four-page open letter to CM Chandrababu Naidu and criticized on his attempts of go-soft approach on the Call Money scam to bail out the TDP leaders involved in the racket. Mr.Jagan demanded a thorough inquiry on the case and unravel the facts pertaining to involvement of the ruling party MLAs and Ministers.

In his open letter, YS Jagan stated, “The efforts reflect the manner in which the Government is trying to sidetrack the issue to save the ruling party leaders who are involved in the racket.”

The Opposition leader took a strong protest to Chandrababu Naidu’s call asking victims not to pay back loans to operators, as it is not the only issue in the case and several women were forced into prostitution. “The Chief Minister owed responsibility for the incident as it was with his support the ruling party leaders indulged in such act.”

He questioned Naidu on why he is silent over the issue instead of demanding a probe. “Chandrababu addresses press meets every other day on any issues. But why is he silent on this issue. Why is he not trying to snuff out such elements?”
