Mudragada questions TDP on Law on Kapus

Dec 3, 2015

Former Minister Mudragada Padmanabham expressing his doubts over TDP government’s seriousness on including Kapus in the BC category, he demanded to prove its seriousness by introducing the Act during the budget session of the Legislative Assembly.

Mudragada has addressed a letter CM N. Chandrababu Naidu, where a copy has been released to Media, in which he questioned the AP government as to why it has not taken a decision to include Kapus in the BC category, while it has been 18 months TDP has come into power. He recalled that TDP has made a promise before polls to Kapus on their inclusion would be completed within six months after coming into the Power.

Regarding the commission appointed by the government, Mr. Padmanabham said, “If the entire information about Kapus is available with the government, why is it appointing commission to study the issue? The Commission is only to postpone the demand of Kapus further.”
He recalled that both YSR Congress and the Congress parties have given their support on the issue, and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had nothing to speak against the decision as it was in alliance with the TDP during polls.
“This long-pending needs an immediate attention from the government. The TDP government should take a sincere initiative to render justice to Kapus,” he added.
