Konathala set to join Ruling TDP

Former Minister from Visakhapatnam Konathala Ramakrishna who has been in political oblivion for over a year,   is set to make his entry in Telugu Desam Party.

Konathala was in Congress for several years and worked closely YS Rajasekhar Reddy, and later shifted to YSR Congress party and worked in the party as political affairs committee member. However, he later quit YSRCP accusing YS Jagan for ignoring him and other senior leaders.

Mr. Konathala has been looking for a comeback to politics, and he has opted for the ruling Telugu Desam Party, despite he criticized TDP leaders for a long time. Konathala has met Party President and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday and discussed on his join in TDP, while Minister Ch Ayyannapatrudu and MLA Kala Venkat Rao accompanied him. Former MLA Gandi Babji may also join TDP along with Konathala Rama Krishna.
