Senior Politicians from TDP JC Diwakar Reddy and his brother JC Prabhakara Reddy have been making sensational comments on AP government for a while, and they have yet again made some serious allegations on AP government regarding the selection of the new capital Amaravati.

JC Diwakar Reddy in his recent interaction with media has alleged that AP government has selected Amaravati as capital based on the caste politics. “If the government had not considered caste politics, it would have considered the Shivaramakrishnan Committee's recommendations on AP's capital,” said the MP.

He however said that Andhra Pradesh needs its own new capital, since it cannot rely on Hyderabad forever, but the government has made the selection on the caste equations. Meanwhile, an English daily has estimated that Chennai's rainfall like disasters will repeat in AP Capital Amaravati, which is to be located on the bank of the river Krishna to be erected on that was crisscrossed by the river earlier, with the loss of greenery in 33,000 acres of land that may have chances to lead to ecological disaster.
