AP Capital Master Plan draft notification released

Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has released the master plan draft notification for the state new capital, and has sought for the objections, modifications and suggestions within 30 days time on the released draft notification.

CRDA team has also said that people can submit their objections and suggestions at their offices in Vijayawada city or in Guntur, Tenali, Mangalagiri and Tulluru, and they can also submit the suggestions by post or email. The capital region includes 8,603.32 sq kms and is packed with 54 revenue mandals (tehsils) in both Guntur and Krishna districts while the capital city of 217 sq Kms.

The Capital Region Development Authority has made the modifications to the Singapore Government provided plan, considering the local conditions. The capital region is divided into nine small areas of to government, financial, tourist, knowledge, health, electronics, media, justice and sports activities.The CRDA officials stated that the draft master plan has been designed taking into priority of protecting natural resources, ecology, water tanks, canals and rivers.
