T High Court Orders AP Government

May 2, 2015

Hyderabad High Court has clarified to the government of Andhra Pradesh that the existing High Court does not belong to Andhra Pradesh. The AP government has been waiting for an opposite decision for what was delivered now. Andhra Pradesh government need to have a separate High Court of its own in AP itself.  The High Court today stated that the existing premises belongs to Telangana State only.

The division of the court will be done once the government of Andhra Pradesh completes the construction of separate high court in their state. Till then the government of AP can use the existing high court in the state of Telangana. The High Court in Telangana also said that AP can go in for setting up HC benches in Guntur and Tirupati. This is a big blow to AP state and let us hope that the government officials of AP fasten their works inorder to have a separate high court.
