Lion Breaks The Sentiments

May 16, 2015

Many celebrities from Tollywood believe in sentiments. Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna is not an exemption from that. He was seen following many sentiments in the past and also revealed it publicly many times in the past too. The makers of his films prefer to induct ‘Simha’ word in his movies. As far as ‘Lion’ movie is concerned, one bad sentiment seems to be haunting now. As per this sentiment, no Balakrishna’s movie has been declared a hit with new directors in the past two decades.  Balakrishna’s ‘Vijayendra Varma’ directed by debutant Swarna Subbarao and with debutant director Mahadev’s ‘Mithrudu’ and Sekhar’s ‘Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ failed at the box office.

Now the film Lion also opened with negative talk but managed to collect huge.

“Lion” was released in 650 cinema halls in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and around 350 screens in other parts of India and international markets on 14 May.The film collected 5.5 crores on Day 1 at AP/Nizam BO.
